Common symptoms of Allergies include:

  • Sneezing
  • Itching of the eyes
  • Runny or stuffy nose
  • Watery, reddened, or swollen eyes
  • Coughing
  • Skin rashes and itching

Common symptoms of Chronic Bronchitis include:

  • Cough with yellow or green mucus production
  • Runny and stuffy nose
  • Chest congestion
  • Fatigue
  • Wheezing or whistling sound while breathing
  • Low grade fever

If you are experiencing a high fever, chest pain, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing call 911 or go to the nearest ER.

Patients must have an existing diagnosis of asthma, and/or be currently prescribed an inhaler.  Common symptoms of Asthma include:

  • Coughing
  • Wheezing
  • Shortness of breath
  • Chest tightness

Warning: We DO NOT treat active asthma attacks. Please seek medical attention immediately if you are experiencing trouble breathing, persistently wheezing or coughing, chest tightness, feeling panicky, sweaty face, having a fever or bloody or yellow-green sputum cough.

Common symptoms of Migraine Headaches include:

  • Throbbing in area of head
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Sensitivity to light, noise, and odors
  • Irritability

Common symptoms of Motion Sickness include:

  • Dizziness
  • Wooziness
  • Fatigue
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting

Weight above what’s considered healthy. People who are overweight or obese are at higher risk for chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol.

Common symptoms of Overweight and Obesity include:

  • Overweight: BMI of 25.0-29.9
  • Obesity: BMI of 30 and above

High Blood Pressure typically has no symptoms. If untreated, it can lead to heart disease and stroke.

Symptoms of severe High Blood Pressure include:

  • Headache
  • Nosebleed
  • Vision changes
  • Chest pain
  • Irregular heartbeat
  • Fatigue or confusion

Risk factors associated with hypertension include: Age, Obesity, Family history, Sedentary lifestyle, High sodium/salt diet, Race, and Excessive alcohol consumption

Lifestyle changes to control hypertension include diet, exercise, salt restriction, weight loss, and limited alcohol intake.

Common symptoms of Hyperglycemia include:

  • Increased thirst
  • Frequent urination
  • Fatigue
  • Blurred vision
  • Increased hunger
  • Weight loss
  • Slow healing sores or frequent infections

Typically, high cholesterol doesn’t cause any symptoms until it causes a medical emergency such as heart attack or stroke.

Symptoms of High Cholesterol include:

  • Nausea
  • Numbness
  • Slurred speech
  • Extreme fatigue
  • Chest pain or Angina
  • Numbness or coldness in extremities
  • High blood pressure

Lipid panel and Liver function test will be needed unless you have had lab tests within 90 days.

Common symptoms of Hypothyroidism include:

  • Fatigue
  • Cold intolerance
  • Weight gain
  • Constipation
  • Dry skin
  • Myalgia
  • Menstrual irregularities.

A thyroid test will be needed for patients who are NOT currently on thyroid medications.

Common symptoms of Insomnia include:

  • Difficulty falling asleep at night
  • Waking up during the night
  • Waking up too early
  • Not feeling well-rested after a night’s sleep
  • Daytime tiredness or sleepiness
  • Irritability, depression or anxiety.

A gout flare is an intensely painful and disabling inflammatory arthritis, usually involving a single joint but occasionally involving two or more joints.

Common symptoms of Gout include:

  • Joint pain; ankle, foot, knee, or great toe
  • Swelling
  • Stiffness
  • Redness
  • Lumps
